This larger floral piece is inspired by the delicate plum blossoms that appeared outside of my window in early spring during my childhood. After a long winter they are one of the earliest hints of spring, and a reminder that the earth is starting to awaken again, and that life is stirring beneath the surface. No matter how cold and barren the winter, spring will always return.
